Lovely Sunday Morning!

Well it started out lovely and sunny this morning but its gone in now.....our front garden is looking lovely and lush this morning ~ its getting a bit wild and jungly but I rather like it like that. I planted loads of perennials, shrubs and trees about 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my youngest daughter and hav'nt done much to it since other than a bit of weeding although my hubby has kept some of the shrubs and Rose bushes in check and he does most of the weeding now and he cuts the lawn ~ I was really into gardening back then but since I've started my ebay business I don't seem to have the time to potter in the garden which is a shame as I really enjoyed it! Perhaps if I try to get some inspiration I might be persuaded to make the time.........

Our 3 Gorgeous Pet Cats

We had such a lovely sunny weekend that I didn't really feel in the mood for doing any work so spent the day basking in the sun. I'm not quite in the swing of blogging and keep forgetting to take pictures to post on my blog ~ I did take a few pics of our cats who love sleeping in my packing boxes and baskets and thought it would be nice to show you how cute they were as kittens and some then and now pictures and some feature my 3 lovely children.

So here are our cats ~ we have 3 beauties : the oldest is Jessie she is black and white, and the youngest are brother and sister Snowy and Mittens ~ here are some pictures then and now ~ so sweet!

Had a Busy Week!

I have been so busy this week that I have not had chance to write on my blog. I was horrified to discover last weekend that some cyber criminal hacked into my ebay store and listed 221 caravans and tractors so it took me a few days to sort out that mess! NEVER open up an email from "ebay" without checking first in ebay messages first ~ I think this is how the criminal got into my store ~ anyway we live and learn!

Back to this week ~ I have had a bit of a Lampshade fetish this week and have found loads of lovely vintage and vintage style shades which I am listing in my store today. Heres some pics for you:

This is a French Shabby chic Lampshade with lovely gathers and pretty florettes

 I found two of these which remind me of Liberty fabric or Sanderson fabric shades and very much reminiscent of "The Good Life" television programme with Felicity Kendal and Richard Briers which I used to watch as a child.
